I lead organizations through digital change. Currently, Agentic AI.
It began with an Atari 2600 and the discovery that a screen could answer back. My first computer was a C64, and the first program I wrote myself a number-guessing game in BASIC. Nothing spectacular. But someone played it, and stayed. That feeling never left me: out of zeros and ones you can make something people happily lose hours to.
I studied communication design to get better at exactly that. The work from those years, an e-commerce store, an online role-playing game, won awards, Adobe's among them, was shown at Ars Electronica and even printed in books. The lesson stuck: interactivity is not decoration. It is the craft of designing the space between people and machines.
That craft carried me through more than two decades of very different projects and mandates, always chasing the same thing: systems people enjoy, that leave the world a little better, even if only for a few minutes. But over time, the systems I was handed changed. Code and design became teams. Teams became organisations. Eventually the organisation itself was the product: structure, people, culture. Because before a company can use any new technology, someone has to translate between the people who build, the people who use and the people who fund. That translation became my favourite part of the job.
Today I co-found and scale AI platforms for enterprise clients and guide organisations through a transformation that currently has one name: AI. By my count, it is the sixth wave of technology in my working life: e-commerce, social, cloud, mobile, AR, and now this. None of the five before moved at this speed, and none put so much within reach. So I design and develop more myself than I have since the C64.
Whether you run a company, are starting one, or simply love this craft the way I do: the best part of any interactive system is still the same as it was on that first Atari. The answer: I look forward to every single one.
The highlights only, because who has time for more? From what's shipping now back to where it started.
