Founded my first own agency in 1997, then 2003 went as creative to Grey, Jung von Matt, Scholz&Friends and Neue Digitale / Razorfish, before moving to Dubai in 2012 to build and manage four offices across the Middle East as regional creative director.
2004 back to Germany: as managing director for JvM/next and 2015 for DDB&Tribal Hamburg.
After the German DDB Group takes first place in all creative rankings in 2019 and becomes “Agency of the Year 2020″, it’s off to independence: working freelance and always open to the best possible constellation.
In 2006, with EnBW, accompanied the Football World Cup online in realtime for the first time. For Audi in 2009, lead the global digital launch of the Audi A1. In 2010 redesigned the global website and then launched the world’s first augmented reality calendar in 2011. With the Coca-Cola Company in 2013 implemented the first content marketing campaign in the Middle East across all social channels. In 2015 digitally transformed the product with german newspaper F.A.Z. and in 2019 revamped the Lufthansa brand for digital dialog marketing.
Re-think, re-do, improve, push forward: Innovation gives me pleasure and drives me. Whether disruptive or incremental.
I was on stage as a speaker for iF Design, Adobe and the Golden Drums. For the Texterschmiede in Hamburg and the Miami Ad School in Berlin I took care of the digital new generation.
Among others, I was appointed as a juror for the Dubai Lynx, the British D&AD, as well as YouTube and the “German Digital Economy Association” (BVDW).
I have been a member and juror of the “Art Directors Club Deutschland” (ADC) since 2011.
I believe that we can make the world a better place creatively and digitally: Especially with the power that brands have today.
Collaborative and always open to the best possible constellation: as part of an existing team, as interim manager, or as a customized marketing setup leading projects from initial questions to launch.
